2. Technical Assistant: 08 vacancies
Pay scale: Rs.9300-34800+Grade Pay – Rs.4700/-(PB2) (PM).
Age limit: The aspirant’s age is minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as on 01-07-2011, reservation as per rules.
Educational qualification: Aspirants passed a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Auto Mobile Engineering or Auto Mobile Technology of any recognized university or institution (OR) Post Diploma in Auto Mobile Engineering of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or of any recognized institution or board.
Application fee: The application fee for Rs 130/- (Rs 100/- Examination fee + Rs 30/- Application fee) aspirants should paid only through postal receipt obtained from any on of the post offices or sub post offices.
Selection process: The mode of selection is written test/oral test in the shape of an interview basis.
How to apply: The qualified aspirants have to apply either online or offline.
Online Application Form: Aspirants have to apply through online from the www.tnpsc.gov.in website on or before 13-06-2011 till 5.45 PM. Aspirants apply online should possess and ready to apply online through postal receipt for Rs 130/- for those fee exempted aspirants should possess receipt for Rs 30/- obtained from any Head Post Offices or Sub Post Offices before applying online. The postal receipt for application fee, examination fee should be pasted in the space given in the application form. The aspirants follow the instructions at the time of online apply. After submission of online application aspirants take a print out of online application and send it along with attested copies of all necessary certificates, to the following address on or before 15-06-2011, up to 5.45 PM, Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, No.1 Greams Road, Chennai–600006.Offline Application Form: The qualified aspirants have to obtain the OMR Application form in specified post offices by paying 30/- or obtain the application form sales counter of TNPSC on all working days till the closing date up to 5.00 pm. Filled in application OMR forms along with attested copies of necessary certificates must be send to the following address, on or before 15-06-2011 up to 5.45 PM, Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, No.1 Greams Road, Chennai–600006.
