Himachal Pradesh TET Recruitment Details
Name of the posts:
Trained Graduate Teacher, Shastri,Language Teacher

Eligibility:

For TGT (Arts): The minimum qualification is B.A./B.Com. With at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed) OR B.A./B.Com. with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) with NCTE (OR) Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A. Ed.

For TGT (Non-Medical): The minimum qualification is B.Sc.(NM) with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed) (OR) B.Sc. (NM) with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) with NCTE (OR) Senior Secondary ( or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.Sc. (NM)/Ed.

For TGT (Medical): The minimum qualification is B.Sc.(Medical) with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed) (OR) B.Sc. (Medical) with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) with NCTE.

For Shastri: Shastri with 50% marks from a University recognized by H.P. Government.

For Language Teacher: BA with Hindi as an elective subject from a recognized University with 50% marks (OR) M.A. (Hindi) with 50% marks from a recognized University.

Note: Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates up to 5% marks.

Application fee: Candidates paid the fee of Rs 500/- for General candidates and Rs 200/- for SC/ST/OBC/ and other category (No fee for EXSM/VH candidates) through either Bank draft or Indian Postal Order, payable to the Secretary, Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board, Hamirpur HP at Hamirpur.

How to apply: Eligible candidates may download the application form from the website, candidates advised to read carefully the instructions given in the advertisement before filling the application form and send the application form with recent passport size photographs pasted on the application form and admit card, along with one self addressed envelop worth of 6/- postage stamp pasted on it, with the application form to the following address the Secretary, Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board, Hamirpur HP-177001 on or before 17-10-2011 (For remote areas 31-10-2011).

Validity of TET Certificate: The TET Certificate valid for appointment for 7 years from the date of issuance of TET Certificate. Those who are qualified TET may also appear again for improving their score.

Important dates:
Last date for receipt of application: 17-10-2011 (For remote areas 31-10-2011).
Date of TET Examination:
For TGT (Arts), TGT (Non-Medical) and TGT (Medical): 11-12-2011.
For Language Teacher and Shastri: 04-12-2011.
