Research Officer Grade ‘B’: 13 posts.
Age limit: Candidates age limit is between 21 and 30 years as on 01/05/2011, reservation as per Govt rules.
Educational qualification: Candidates passed with Master’s Degree in Economics with any specialization with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for ST) or an equivalent Grade from a recognized Indian or Foreign university/institute (OR) Doctorate Degree in Economics with Master’s Degree in any subject with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for ST) or an equivalent Grade from a recognized Indian or Foreign university/institute.
Application fee: Demand draft for Rs 100/- for general candidates (No fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in favour of Reserve Bank of India, payable at Mumbai only. Incase, candidates from un banked areas may pay fee by crossed Indian Postal Orders (IPO) in favour of Reserve Bank of India, payable at GPO, Mumbai. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of the Demand draft.
Selection process: The selection will be on basis of performance in written test and interview.
How to apply: The interested and eligible candidates have to apply either online or offline.
Online Application Form: The interested candidates have to apply through online from the website http://onlinedr.rbi.org.in on or before 27/06/2011 till 11:59 PM. Candidates should read the instructions carefully and then click on apply link. After successfully submission of online application candidates need take a print out of their online application. A signed photograph must pasted at the specified place on the application form, and send it along with Demand draft or Indian Postal Order (IPO) of Rs 100/- to the following address by ordinary post, on or before, 04/07/2011, (For far flung areas 11/07/2011), up to 6.00 P.M, “The General Manager, Reserve Bank of India Services Board, Post Bag No. 4618, Mumbai Central Post Office, Mumbai-400008.
Offline Application Form: The candidates may also apply offline in prescribed format given in the advertisement. Candidates should be typed or neatly hand written in Hindi or English on a good quality white A4 size paper. Candidates must filled the all columns in the application form, and affix a recent passport size photograph with signature and send it along with Demand draft or Indian Postal Order (IPO) of Rs 100/-, to the following address by ordinary post, “The General Manager, Reserve Bank of India Services Board, Post Bag No. 4618, Mumbai Central Post Office, Mumbai-400008, on or before, 04/07/2011, (For far flung areas 11/07/2011), up to 6.00 P.M.
