Senior / Lead QA Consultant
Location: Pune
Education Required: B.Tech/B.E.
Role Description
• Work on manual testing according to project deliverables.
• Develop, maintain, and execute manual test scripts. Maintain complete, detailed test results data.
• Generate test reports indicating test scripts passed, failed, not run, including # defects created as a result of testing.
• Identify and segregate manual test cases those are good candidates for regression testing.
• Open defect records for all defects resulting from testing, ensuring all high and urgent priority defects are resolved prior to project implementation.
• Develop / maintain regression test scripts throughout project life cycle.
• Continually build knowledge and proficiency in testing methodologies.
• Keep abreast of changes in technology regarding application development / testing tools.
Job Profile
Candidate(s) should have experience in Software testing preferably on Financial application(s). Exposure to multiple platforms / browsers testing, Database testing etc will be a plus. Should have strong exposure to Test Plan, test case design, Reviews, SDLC.
Mandatory Skills
• Good understanding of the domain already worked on
• Able to design test cases ensuring coverage
• Able to estimate time for testing activities
• Has a knack of finding bugs through exploratory techniques
• Thorough in their area of work
•Good domain experience on Payments processing, Treasury or Wealth Management domains.
• Should have strong exposure Integration testing.
• Very good exposure to functional testing is a must.
