Role Description
• To work as a member of the Testing service Line/ /QA team in close co-operation with SGC Product Teams, systems development engineers as well as members of the business unit team. These responsibilities would include: Understanding the business systems requirements for business unit or function.
• Assisting the product teams in preparing the test cases for functional requirements using Functional Test Accelerator technique.
• Prepare test plans
• Excellent manual testing and Automation using QTP skills
• Finance domain
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Exposure to Automation testing using QTP
Working with Project Test/Managers and QA’s to understand and analyze the requirements and write test cases based on the requirements.
• Being responsible for ensuring that requirements are accurately tested as mentioned in the design documents and implementation on the product.
• Assisting the product teams in preparing E2E test cases w.r.t. business functionalities to cover all functionalities delivered till date.
• Adherence to TSL QA policies and procedures, testing strategies and consistent in testing methodologies and best practices followed in TSL.
Job Profile
To aid in the production of quality software produced by SunGard through the development, maintenance and improvement of a regression test suite built using various automation tools, participate in qualifying opportunities, involve in POC etc.
Mandatory Skills
• Strong finance domain knowledge
• Excellent manual testing and Automation using QTP skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Prepare test plans, test artifacts, test strategy, etc
• Exposure of working on Enterprise solutions
• Understanding of Trading systems, Securities, wealth management would be added advantage.
• Preparation of Test cases
• Functional and system test execution including regression testing.
• Using test management tool – HP Quality Centre (Mandatory)
• Knowledge of implementation of testing processes in products.
• Knowledge on Complete Testing Life Cycle and testing processes.
• Good team player.
• Experience utilizing automation testing tools e.g. Test Complete, QuickTest Pro, Load Runner etc.
• Experience with planning, setup and maintenance of QA test environments.
